Career highlights past and present
Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar has spent more than a decade as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of North Texas (UNT) Health Science Center (HSC) and as a member of the clinical volunteer faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Her responsibilities primarily involve the oversight of students engaged in outpatient rotations. In 2021 Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar expanded her professional activities by joining Wellmed. As a physician with Wellmed, she provides a wide range of family medicine services, from autoimmune and diabetes care to advanced testing for food sensitivity.
A few of Dr. Sattar’s past positions include serving as medical director of UNTHSC and locum tenens physician with To Your Health. Between 2011 and 2021, she owned and operated the Oakmont Wellness Center.
Dr. Sattar graduated with distinction from Nova Southeastern University with a bachelor of science in biology. She continued her education in the school’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating as the youngest doctor in the school’s history in 2005.
